Follow the steps below to show or hide enhanced ScreenTips. Launch PowerPoint. Click the File tab. Click Options on the backstage view. A PowerPoint Options dialog box will appear.
On the General tab, under the User interface options section, click the ScreenTip drop-down arrow and choose any one of the settings:
To show the ScreenTip, select the option ‘ Show feature description in ScreenTips.’To hide the ScreenTip, select the option ‘Don’t show ScreenTips.’If you wish not to show descriptions in your ScreenTips, select the option ‘Don’t show feature descriptions in ScreenTips.’
