The error message you receive after you start the installation could be any of the following two: If you face this issue, try the following suggestions:
1] Rename the InstallShield folder
Open the \Program Files\Common Files\ folderRight-click the Installshield folderRename it as InstallShield-oldTry to install the game.
2] Install the latest Windows Installer package
Download the latest .msu or .exe file for your version of Windows, install it and then see.
3] Manually close these 2 processes
Open the Task Manager, locate idriver.exe and msiexec.exe.Right-click on them and select End Process.
4] Create a new user account
Create a new user account that has administrative rights. Then, use this new user account to install the game and see if that helps.
5] Install in Clean Boot State
